This contemporary Santa Fe home combines large radius corners, and thick walls. A flowing curved porch overhang creates a strong visual statement. The 3 foot thick entry courtyard arch anchors the front elevation with solid massing. A cascading water stream falls along the south slope into a water feature pond near the negative edge pool.
The interior of the home is complete with a 1,750 bottle wine cellar, a dumb waiter that goes from the garage directly in to the pantry above, ¾" chipped custom glass partition at the master bath shower, a library with 3" vertical grain fir built in shelving, and round hand hewn logs in the living room ceiling. A custom built-in barbeque is just outside the kitchen on one of four private patios.
A butt glazed window creates a dramatic view effect at the kitchen sink window. Custom built-in exterior sconces are smooth and seamless. All-in-all the home expresses an organic hand hewn luxury that exemplifies a casual Tucson lifestyle.
